    The brief

The Ivy Showroom had only ever sold in person. Customers came to the boutique, tried pieces on, and bought there - which works well until footfall slows, and then sales slow with it.

Fiskani, the founder, wanted two things: more people seeing the collection, and a way to sell it to customers who would never walk through the door.

The pieces weren't easy ones to sell online. Mink, chinchilla and other furs, from $500 up to $9888 - the kind of purchase people normally want to touch first.

    What we built

A store for pieces that cost as much as a used car has to do the work a showroom assistant would normally do.
    Four decisions shaped it.

    Product pages built from scratch

The Shopify theme had no way to lay out product information the way these pieces needed it, so we rebuilt the product template ourselves. The aim was simple: make each piece stand out, and put the information a buyer checks before spending several thousand dollars where they'd look for it.

    Payment in instalments

Stripe and Shop Pay, so customers can split the cost. At $60 that barely matters.
At $6,000 it can be what makes the purchase possible at all.

A catalogue you can navigate in two clicks

Men's and women's first, then by fur type. Someone looking for a mink coat already knows that's what they want, the structure gets them there without browsing through everything else.

    Out-of-stock doesn't mean no sale

Where a size isn't available, the page offers it as a pre-order instead, automatically, reading stock levels straight from Shopify. Nobody has to update it by hand, and a customer who wants a size that's sold out can still buy it rather than leave.

We also wrote the product copy and uploaded the full catalogue.
Photography and sizing came from the Ivy team, and shipping stayed with them as an internal operation.

    How it went

Five weeks, from late July to August 2025.

The launch was planned for September. It went live in August, ahead of schedule, and in large part because Carlos on the Ivy team turned around everything we needed quickly. Revisions were smooth and the handover was straightforward.

The store has been live since.
