You know what you make.
The hard part is saying what you are, in a way that's the same on your website, your Instagram, your labels and your emails, and that a stranger can repeat back after ten seconds.

That's what this is. Positioning first, then the identity that carries it, then a document that keeps everything consistent after we've gone.

Who this is for

  • You're launching and starting from nothing

  • You've outgrown an identity you made yourself in the early days

  • Your website, Instagram and packaging look like three different brands

  • You're moving upmarket and the current look doesn't carry the prices

  • You're about to spend on ads and don't want to push traffic at something undefined
  • It isn't right for you if you only need a logo. A logo on its own is a much smaller job and you shouldn't pay agency rates for it, we'll point you somewhere sensible.

    What brand work actually means

    Four levers

    Positioning

Who the brand is for, what it stands against, and what makes someone choose it over the three other labels in the same lane. This is the part that decides everything downstream, and it's the part most branding projects skip.

    Language

The words the brand uses about itself, the sentence that opens your About page, the tone of a product description, what you call your collections. Consistent language is most of what makes a small brand feel established.

    Identity

The visual system: logo and its variations, colour, typography, and how they're arranged. Designed to work on a website, an Instagram grid, a care label and a garment bag, not just on a presentation slide.

    The document

Everything written down, so the next person who designs something for you, including you at midnight, makes something that still looks like your brand.

    What you get

    What's included

    Strategy

  • Discovery session and brand questionnaire

  • Market and competitor scan in your category

  • Positioning statement and audience definition

  • Messaging pillars, the three or four things the brand always says

  • Tagline and key phrases
  • Identity

  • Primary logo plus variations: horizontal, stacked, icon, monochrome

  • Color palette with exact values for screen and print

  • Typography system, headings, body, accents, with licensing noted

  • All files in every format you'll need, source files included

  • Application

  • Brand guidelines document

  • Five social media templates you can edit yourself

  • Process

  • Two rounds of revisions

  • What's not included

  • Packaging, labels, hang tags and garment care labels, quoted separately

  • Trademark searches or registration. We'll tell you if a name looks risky, but you'll want a lawyer for that.

  • Website design or build, that's Store Build

  • Photography, or art direction of a shoot

  • A full naming process for a new brand, which is its own project

  • Font licences, which you buy directly so they're in your name

  • What we need from you

Time on the discovery call, about ninety minutes, and it's the most important part of the project.

Examples of brands you admire and brands you don't.

    Photos of your work.

And a decision-maker: if three people have to agree on every round, say so up front and we'll build that into the timeline.

    How the weeks go

    The timeline

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nulla consequat egestas nisi. Vestibulum malesuada fermentum nibh. Donec venenatis, neque et pellentesque efficitur, lectus est preti.

    Week 1
    Strategy

Discovery session, competitor scan, positioning and messaging drafted. You approve the direction in writing before any design begins.

    Week 2
    Design

Identity developed against the agreed positioning. You'll see one direction explored properly, not five thumbnails to pick from.

    Week 3
    Revisions

Your consolidated round of changes, then a second and shorter one.

    Week 4 -
    Delivery

Guidelines document, all files, social templates, and a handover call walking you through how to use it.

    Revisions

Two rounds, each one a single consolidated list of changes rather than a stream of messages.

Changes to color, type, proportion, wording and arrangement are revisions. A new direction after you've approved the strategy is new work, we'll quote it rather than absorb it, and it's rare when week one is done properly.

    Proof

    Bleona Malsori - Brand Strategy

Store Build, Brand strategy, Meta ads and direct outreach for a haute couture label.

"Hapen took the digital side off my hands completely, the brand work, the site, the ads, reaching out to new clients. It meant I could stay in the atelier and design, which is what I actually want to be doing."

Aiyah Couture - Our Own Label

Hapen is in Kosovo. Aiyah Couture is registered in the United States and sells to customers there and in Australia.

Everything in between, we do from here: production in Kosovo, photoshoots, the online store, content, ads, shipping with duties paid, and wholesale outreach to boutiques and showrooms.

We built it ourselves so we could learn the whole chain with our own money, sampling, freight, customs, returns, the lot. It's also the plainest answer to a fair question: can an agency in Kosovo really run a brand for the US market?
    We already do.

    FAQ

Because a logo isn’t the job. The €40 version gives you a mark with no answer to who the brand is for or why someone should choose it, which is why most of them get replaced within a year. If a mark is genuinely all you need, buy the €40 one; we’d tell you the same on a call.

One, developed properly. Choosing between five suggests the strategy wasn’t settled first. You approve the positioning before any design starts, so by the time you see the identity we already agree on what it has to do.

Yes, and it’s the sensible order,  brand first, then the store built on top of it. Tell us on the call and we’ll scope both in one proposal with one timeline.

That’s what the two revision rounds are for. If it’s genuinely wrong rather than needing adjustment, it almost always traces back to the strategy stage, so we’d revisit that with you rather than redesign blindly.

Yes, separately. Once the identity exists, packaging is straightforward to add, ask and we’ll quote it.

You do, including the source files. Everything is handed over at the end of the project.

    Tell us what you're building.

Thirty minutes. If what you need is smaller than this, we'll say so.
